Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect the bare minimum, we do not sell your data, and we do not sell anything on this site — we just point you toward geeky and soccer-culture stuff we like. The long version, because a real privacy policy has to actually say things, is below.

What We Collect

Analytics. Like basically every website, we use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Site Kit to see aggregate info — pages visited, general location by country/region, device type, how you got here. This is not tied to your name unless you give it to us.

Forms. If you use our Contact page or product-submission form, we collect whatever you type in — typically your name, email address, and message. We use it only to reply to you, never to spam you or sell it on.

No accounts, no payments. We do not sell products directly, so we never collect payment information, shipping addresses, or account passwords. Any purchase happens on the retailer’s site (Amazon, etc.), under their privacy policy, not ours.

Cookies & Advertising

This site uses cookies for basic functionality (like remembering your light/dark mode choice) and for analytics.

We work with third-party advertising vendors — including Google. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick/DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can disable cookies entirely in your browser settings, though some site features (like theme preference) may stop working correctly.

Affiliate Links

Some links on this site are affiliate links — including Amazon Associates links — meaning we may earn a small commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you. Full details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

Third-Party Sites

Links on this site lead to third-party retailers and websites we do not control. Once you click through, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We are not responsible for how they handle your data.

Children's Privacy

Shop Friki is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Your Rights

You can ask us what data we have tied to you, or ask us to delete it, any time — just reach out. Depending on where you live (EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA, etc.) you may have additional legal rights over your data; we will honor requests to the extent required by law.

Changes To This Policy

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we will update this page and adjust the date below. Checking back occasionally is on you, but we are not going to bury changes.
