RGB Gaming Mouse Pad With 15W Wireless Charging: First Look at an XXL Desk Mat That Charges Your Phone

My desk has a cable problem. There’s the phone charger, the mouse cable, a USB hub, and one mystery cable I’m afraid to unplug because something somewhere might turn off. So when a mouse pad shows up promising to light up and charge my phone at the same time, I don’t ask whether I need it. I ask how fast it can get here.
Heads-up: this is a first look based on the product listing. A full hands-on review is coming, and it will appear at the top of this post once we’ve had it on the desk.
A mouse pad the size of a small runway
This is an XXL desk mat, listed at 800 x 300 mm (about 31.5 by 11.8 inches) and 4mm thick. That’s room for a full keyboard and a mouse, with space left over for low-sensitivity players who swing their whole arm to turn around. The bottom is non-slip rubber, which is what keeps the whole thing from drifting toward the floor every time you flick. If you’ve ever chased a mouse pad across the desk mid-match, you know why that matters.
14 light modes
The edge lighting has 14 modes, which the listing splits into 5 dynamic effects and 9 static colors. Pick a static color if you want something calm that matches the rest of your setup. Pick a dynamic one if you want your desk to look like it’s throwing a party at 2am. Will I try all 14? Absolutely. Will I end up on one forever? Also absolutely.
Wireless charging built in
The pad has a built-in wireless charging spot rated up to 15W. Drop a Qi-compatible phone on it and it charges while you play, with no extra charger and no extra cable fighting for desk space. The listing comes with two honest caveats. iPhones charge at 7.5W, not the full 15W. The faster speeds also need a quick-charge power adapter (QC 3.0/2.0 or 9V 2A), and that isn’t in the box. So check your junk drawer before you expect top speed.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
It’s a good fit if you want a big, lit-up desk mat and you’re tired of a separate phone charger eating your desk. If you like a plain cloth pad with no lights and no cables, skip this one, and that’s fine. What we can’t tell you yet is how the surface glides, how bright the lighting really gets, and how warm the charging spot runs over a long session. That’s what the hands-on is for.
That’s the first look: a giant mouse pad, a light show and a phone charger, all in one rectangle. The real test is a few weeks of daily use, and the hands-on update will cover it. Until then, the link’s below. Your desk cables will thank you, or at least complain less.
